Tesla Gathering Event

A few days back, we received an invitation to attend a gathering of Tesla owners at The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California. These events are basically meet and greets where Tesla owners come together for 2-3 hours and have a good time. So we decided to head out there today.

This was the first event of this type I had been to. I really did not know what to expect of it and what the turnout out would be. But right as we approached the hotel, things were already looking great. A vast number of Tesla’s were waiting in line to find parking and more kept coming. Once we got a spot, we checked in, as you have to RSVP from before, and walked over to the event. There were about 200 attendees present. Tesla had done a great job hosting the event. There were food, tables, games, display cars and even the Radio Flyer Tesla Model S for kids to drive around. Although this event may not seem like much, I actually learned about some changes to the cars and things Tesla is doing even though I follow them very closely. For starters, I got a look at the center console that was added to the Model X a few months back.Very few cars have this feature. This is located between the two seats in the middle row and provides additional cup holders and some storage space as well. It also provides some extra armrests which are nice as seen in the image on the left.

Overall the event was great and I would recommend that anyone who owns a Tesla should go to these events and meet other people. They even give people test drives in the vehicles. Sadly, I did not get to see the Model 3. Tesla currently does not have enough to be showing around in public as everything that is being produced is being sold. Later in the year at many more of these gatherings, one could definitely spot one if an owner brings it. So for those of you who want to see one and currently own a Tesla, sign up for these events as it may be there. It was a great experience. Down below are some images from the event.
