Is YouTube’s Streaming Bundle Good?

Back in February YouTube announced their new software which they will be releasing in April. It finally came. Last Wednesday YouTube officially announced the release of the new software. This will be priced at $35 and it just rolled out in New York, Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Chicago, and Philadelphia, with more US markets coming soon. Consumers will be able to sign-up for a 30-Day free trial which will allow the customer to view and use every single channel provided in the service. The reason why YouTube is announcing this is because they want to burn down their rivals like At&T, Comcast, Sling, Dish TV and other ones. With the release, they have announced an app that will also connect with your account and you can watch whatever you want if you have wifi and you connected your account to the device.

After the 30-day trial if you still wish to buy the subscription package then and after the first month’s payment, they will send you a free Google Chromecast, while supplies last, to stream the service on a TV set. This is pretty good for those who don’t have a Chromecast, but come on who doesn’t have the Chromecast, that thing was announced ages ago even before the iPhone 6. In the subscription, the contractors that you will get is ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN, Fox Sports, Comcast SportsNet, and others, and the day it released YouTube announced a new deal with AMC Networks. The company claims “soon” AMC, BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, WE tv, and BBC World News will be included at no additional charge, and Sundance Now and Shudder will be available for an additional fee. YouTube TV includes access to YouTube Red Originals plus a YouTube TV membership includes six accounts, each which will receive its own unique recommendations. That is a lot we know for now about YouTube TV.

Conclusion

I feel that YouTube TV is not worth it right now only because the channels that they are offering is only for the people that watch the news. Now would not be a good time to buy because it is very limited but later in the future when they release new contractors then would be the right time to buy the subscription. If I were you then I would scout for TV providers that are being added in YouTube TV.
