Nintendo Switch Tops PS4, Xbox One In US March Sales

It wasn’t a while ago when Nintendo announced their brand new console prior to their successor the Wii U. This new console was released on March 7 around the whole world. Today though Nintendo released their sales of Nintendo Switch and gives the worst to PS4 and Xbox One. Nintendo said that over 906,000 units were sold over the past days in the US during March. These new numbers are a prelude to the company’s next earnings briefing, which is scheduled for April 27 and will include worldwide numbers. Nintendo also stated about their stocks. This is because in the past few days there stock has been pretty down by a dollar only because  “shipments have not yet been able to keep up with such high demand,” and that new system are “continually being shipped.” This might be the reason that if you ordered a Switch maybe a few days or maybe a week ago you might expect delays for the Switch to arrive at your doorstep. This sounds like a fair excuse because they did sell over 906,000 units.

According to data from the NPD Group, those numbers put the Nintendo Switch way out ahead of both Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One. Game Revolution, on the other hand, reports that the PS4 outsold the Xbox One in March, the same sales results have been evident for the past five months. Looking ahead, we are all excited to get the world’s most powerful console – Project Scorpio – alongside an amazing lineup of new Xbox One games. If you want to check out that article Click Here. Neither company shared sales numbers like Nintendo, although it appears that both companies are in fighting spirits when it comes to the Nintendo Switch looming in the background. New data has been portrayed by Nintendo also stating that there is a big demand level for games on the new device, with 137,000 Nintendo Switch games sold during March. The numbers have been supplied by MCV, who have also confirmed that the PS4 sold over 800,000 software units and the Xbox One 500,000. This can be fake but we trust the sites that are given information directly by the company.

Honestly, I feel like all this data given from these different websites are real because of you remember at the beginning of March when you went on any online shopping website every time when you clicked on the Nintendo Switch it would say that it was sold out. This hit the news and people couldn’t buy any Nintendo Switch after two to three weeks, which is a good thing.
